概要
このコースでは日本市民社会を比較的な観点から分析し,市社会運動研究の理論と方法を学ぶ。社会運動研究の中で社会運動の組織化に重点を置く。/In this course we will primarily focus on the institutionalization of social movements in Japan from a comparative perspective.
目標
日本市民社会に関する事例研究と理論を理解し,社会運動研究におけるそれぞれの方法と理論的枠組みの特徴を学ぶ。/Be able to understand empirical research on Japanese civil society/social movements and acquire knowledge of methods and concepts of social movements research.
授業外の学習
論文は英文を使うことが多い。参加者は授業前に論文を読み,一人がその内容を紹介し,その後,内容について議論をする形を取る。/We will often use English language literature. Participants are expected to read assignments before class. One participant will present an outline of the assigned reading each session and we will conduct a group discussion afterwards.
