概要
You implement your own project based on your research theme and plans. With the guidance from your supervisor, you will conduct the research and fieldwork to submit a report as a final deliverable. Detail of the independent studies is described in the "Guide on Independent Studies" uploaded below.
目標
In your 1st year, you will learn the basics of disciplines of Global Studies, gather information and materials for your research. In your 2nd year, your will learn methods for research through “Academic Skills for Global Studies”. What you have learned in these classes will be executed for the first time in the Independent Studies you register from Autumn Semester of your 2nd year.
授業外の学習
A student is expected to conduct research independently on a chosen topic using primary and/or secondary data. The student is required to report the work process and the time spent for the research (When, Where, What and How you conduct the research). The work process and the time spent for the independent research should be equivalent to those of other regular lectures and seminars.
