JAPANESE 3*【C class】

概要

This course is designed to develop four language skills, building upon the basis of the elementary level. The main focus is placed on the development of oral communication skills, while reading and writing skills are equally emphasized. The course covers 10 lessons (Lessons 5, & 7 to 15) of the textbook. Five 100-minute classes a week. There are opportunities for students to actively participate in collaborative learning through pair or group work, and to share their thoughts and findings with classmates.

目標

Students will be able to handle formal and informal situations such as giving advice, making an appointment, and asking someone out etc.; to be able to understand key ideas and supporting details of the reading passages; to be able to write coherent paragraphs in compositions.

授業外の学習

Students are expected to study more than two hours every day doing homework, preparation for the following class, reviewing what you have learned, preparation for quizzes, etc. Students will be given assignments almost on daily basis and vocabulary and kanji (Chinese characters) quizzes frequently.
