概要
This course provides students with a fundamental understanding of international aspects of business and management. It provides a broad view of the factors underlying international competitive dynamics and performance. The course considers the objectives and strategies of international business in the context of global competition. It addresses the common international business functions of market analysis, exporting, sourcing, direct foreign investment, and cross-cultural management.
目標
The course will develop students’ ability to plan and implement business strategies in international settings. Students will learn about the techniques and strategies associated with managing international business effectively.
授業外の学習
Case studies will be assigned frequently which discuss the application of the principles of strategic management in different firms and organizations. Students are required to work on the cases and make reports/presentations. ● Review class lecture (60 minutes). ● Work on case assignment (60 minutes) ● Work on paper assignment (70 minutes)
