概要
This course introduces students to the main topics of financial management. These include the time value of money, interest rates and bond valuation, stock valuation, net present value, risk and return, the security market line, cost of capital, and capital structure policy. Prerequisite: MTH111
目標
Students will learn techniques that can be used for capital budgeting and capital structure decisions.
授業外の学習
Students are expected to do the readings, review questions (90 minutes), and do group work (incl. problems, presentation and report) (100 minutes). I also recommend students to review statistics (e.g., expected value, standard deviation, and correlation) and read the first chapter "Introduction to Corporate Finance" before attending the first class.
