概要

Management Information Systems (MIS) is a formal discipline within business education that bridges the gap between computer science and well-known business disciplines such as finance, marketing, and management. MIS is an information system used for decision-making, and for the coordination, control, analysis, and visualization of information in an organization. The study of the MIS systems involves people, processes and technology in an organizational context. This is an introductory course for students who want to have a look at how today's business firms use information technologies and digital transformation to achieve corporate objectives. During this course, students will do following activities: - Learning concepts about information technologies for digital transformation - Studying real and practical use cases of application of MIS in organizations and companies - Acquiring skills and abilities of MIS by doing exercise and practice hands-on lab works (using computer and cloud environments: Microsoft Azure for Students, Google Developer Codelabs, Microsoft Power Platform) This course covers following information technologies for digital transformation: Cloud Computing, SQL and Databases, IoT, AI, Data Analysis & Business Intelligence, E-Business and E-Commerce, Low-Code/ No-Code Information Systems Development.
