概要
This course examines how individuals and firms make decisions about the use of their resources and the overall allocation of these resources in society. The course begins with an overview of how markets work, introducing topics such as: demand and supply analysis, elasticity, and market efficiency. Then, we make use of the demand and supply model to understand the effect of different government interventions on market activities. Finally, we study introductory industrial organization topics.
