INTERMEDIATE FRENCH 2*

概要

This course is the fourth stage in French language learning. Based on the knowledge and skills learned until Intermediate 1 course, students will further develop communication competence and understanding about different cultures and societies where French is used. In order to gain confidence to communicate with speakers of French, students are expected to participate in a variety of in-class activities such as pair work, group work, and individual work.

目標

The goal of this course is to practice intermediate level communication, gain practice asking questions, and developing a repertoire of ways for expressing personal opinions. The main grammatical contents covered include conditional mood, subjunctive mood and relative pronouns. Students are expected to gain practice expressing personal views as well as discussing social problems. By reading more complex texts, practicing speaking logically and expressing their opinions, students are encouraged to increase vocabulary and thinking skills.

授業外の学習

Do assigned homework, review the grammar and vocabulary learned in class and re-solve the exercises in the textbook. Students are also expected to listen to the sound source repeatedly and to practice reading dialogues.
