BASIC FRENCH 2*

概要

This course is the second level in a series of courses designed for developing basic communication skills in French. Students continue to learn basic grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary and general expressions through tasks focused on developing communication skills. Through a balanced interaction within the four skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing), students gain practice at communicating in basic French. Students will also learn to use basic non-verbal language as well as cultural and social elements in language, such as gestures and mimics. In-class activities include pair work, group work, and individual work.

目標

The goal of this course is to secure a basic knowledge and understanding of French language for purposes of simple communication in daily life. By using both present tense and past tense, students gain practice at expressing opinions and making comments in French: telling what they prefer to do, giving directions, describing people, and talking about things in the past. By the end of the course, students are expected to have acquired and secure the language competence equivalent to A1 level goals.

授業外の学習

Do assigned homework, review the grammar and vocabulary learned in class and re-solve the exercises in the textbook. Students are also expected to listen to the sound source repeatedly and to practice reading dialogues.
